Does Hyvä need different hosting than Luma?

No. Hyvä runs on the same Magento 2 stack, PHP 8.x, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch. It actually uses fewer resources than Luma because the frontend doesn’t need RequireJS / KnockoutJS bundling. Many stores see hosting bills drop after migration.
