The story behind the code.
The first Magento store I shipped was in 2016, for a shop that had been quoted three times by agencies and still had no checkout. The pattern has not changed much: a store owner with a real problem, a stack of proposals that never say what will actually be built, and a project manager between them and the person who could fix it. Working alone, in writing, with the price on the page, is the answer to that.
Since then it has been more than 200 stores for owners and agencies in 25 countries, around a third of them white-label for agencies in the US, the UK, the EU and Australia. Fifty of the modules I wrote along the way are open source, on GitHub and Packagist, so the code can be read before the developer is hired.
Every statement of work transfers 100% of the IP. Every launch gets a 14-day bug-fix window. Every reply comes from the same person who does the work.
